Description
THE MONEY PIT (1986) Young lovers Walter and Anna are house-sitting a New York City apartment owned by Max, Anna’s ex-husband, who suddenly decides to toss them out. Needing a new home, they settle on buying a country estate outside the city, which is available for a suspiciously low price. It soon becomes apparent why, as doors fall off their hinges, staircases come tumbling down and a bathtub falls through the floor. The couple’s relationship suffers similarly.
THE 'BURBS (1989) Ray Peterson is currently a man of leisure. To the disappointment of his wife Carol, Ray decides to spend a relaxing week at home, but soon finds himself embroiled in a suburban conspiracy of the most bizarre order. Ray becomes the unlikely leader of a clandestine operation to investigate the background of their mysterious new neighbours the Klopeks.
Convinced there is more to the Klopeks than meets the eye - Ray and his band of bumbling brothers manage to turn the otherwise quiet cul de sac upside-down in the process!
