Scottish comedian and sketch superstar Ronnie Corbett has been making people laugh for over fifty years - establishing a formidable reputation alongside fellow funny man Ronnie Barker, as one half of the world famous duo The Two Ronnies. After 16 years of side-splitting success for BBC1, Corbett packed up his bag of tricks and travelled to Australia in 1987 to record his very own solo show for the Nine Network.
Featuring classic stand-up routines, colourful parodies and lively song and dance numbers, The Ronnie Corbett Show is an engaging up-beat variety show, capturing the essence of a master comedian at the top of his craft, casually ending each show cracking wise and sipping red wine beside his trademark white piano.
Containing six rarely seen episodes, dynamically supported by internationally acclaimed choreographer Geoff Richer's First Edition dance troupe, Corbett is joined by special guests from the world of comedy and music including: his wife Anne Hart, Danny La Rue, Marcia Hines, Wayne King, Angela Ayres, Tony lvarez, Barry Krauss, Dennis Walter, Keith Scott, Peter Kaye and Australian TV darlings Bert and Patti Newton.
