Angst is based on the true story of mass murderer Werner Kniesek. Lauded as one of the best serial killer films ever made, ANGST is an exercise in fear and disturbance. Featuring innovative camera work for its time and incredible performances, ANGST puts you in the mind of a compulsive killer in the moments of the act, making it both a chilling and compelling experience.

ANGST follows ‘K’, recently released from prison for murder. He quickly begins to feel the need to kill again, and we follow the sadistic spiral into chaos as K embarks on a murderous spree in rural Austria.
