Description
In the western town of Gunlock, Sheriff Bill Jorden (John Agar, Sands of Iwo Jima) prepares to hang Sam Hall (Richard Boone, Big Jake) for murder and cattle-stealing. But there is much more to this impending execution than meets the eye - as disgruntled townsfolk raise opinions against the accused and scheme to carry out their own particular brand of justice. With the clock ticking down, the farmers are intent on a lynching whilst Hall's colleagues are fixing to set him free - it's up to the sheriff to keep the town from coming apart at the seams.
Based on the book Law Man and featuring a stellar support cast including Mamie Van Doren, Paul Fix, Leif Erickson, Harry Morgan and James Gleason, Star In The Dust also captures an early appearance of legendary star Clint Eastwood.
