Created by TCN-9 executive Bruce Gyngelland modelled on the successful American musical /variety show of the same name, Bandstand was hosted by the ever-charming Brian Henderson- setting the standard for 14 entertaining years and presenting an astonishing 1500 local and international acts during its illustrious reign.
