Description
Set in the dying days of French colonial rule in Indochina, this epic, Academy-Award winning period drama stars Catherine Denueve as a rubber baroness caught in a love triangle between her daughter and a dashing naval officer. With the flames of revolution gathering around her, the beautiful Elaine (Deneuve) stubbornly presides over the last remnants of French rule in the Orient.
