Description
Country music star Delaney Blu hasn’t been back to her Tennessee hometown in over five years and plans to make a quick pit-stop to see her mother on her way to NY where she is scheduled to headline in the annual Santapalooza Christmas Concert.
Though she loves her Mom, the town wasn't the kindest place to her growing up, and she was happy to escape it when her career skyrocketed at seventeen. But when a freak snowstorm hits, Delaney finds herself marooned in the town and is pressed into taking part in a local Christmas concert as romance blooms with the handsome snowplow driver Robbie (her old boyfriend from high school) who rescued her from the side of the road.
But spending time in her hometown, Delaney comes to see this place isn't quite the way she remembers it, the people who discouraged her were just dealing with their own struggles, and there's lots of hidden talent among locals. In the end, she comes to fall back in love with this town, as they fall back in love with her, and when the storm lets up enough to let her private jet in to whisk her to NY, she ultimately chooses to stay for the concert, for love, and for the town. Instead, they broadcast her town's performance to the arena in New York, making it a very special Christmas.
